Are these images from the same study? The first image doesn't align with the information in the second image

To answer the first part, yes: A truly “free” copper would look different than the royal blue of normal GHK-CU. It would look like a glacier ice Gatorade kind of pale light blue. That would require such uncommon circumstances that it is not even worth entertaining which is why I used an example of reduction to strip/separate the copper from the complex instead of truly “freeing” it. To free the bond is funny to think of given that the bond of copper in the GHK complex is one quadrillion times stronger than copper can bind to water. The Vitamin C greenish example creates a shade of green you can see due to common issues (reduction, low-level oxidation, or corrosion). It being a greenish color can happen from being reconstituted for too long (low-level oxidation), getting a fake vial of bac water and getting bacteria/organic compounds in the vial whose metabolites cause reduction (contamination), or using cheap Amazon needles that leach metal and go through an ion exchange (corrosion, but more of a greenish turquoise with common metals in cheap needles). To make it “freed” requires things like boiling a reconstituted vial in bac water for hours or dropping the ph rapidly to below 4 with a strong acid. It is not going to happen unless something is already very wrong with the product.

Oh I would not use PBS I was arguing against using it and that everyone who claims it’s better than bac water, conveniently never have a source for that info.
