Bac water is slightly acidic (a little lower than 6 pH). The copper (Cu2+) bound to GHK is not a strong bond and can be broken by pH shifts. Oxidation or hydrolysis over time can cause the place where copper is bound to GHK (nitrogen and oxygen atoms) to lose electrons, that get donated to Cu2+ in an acidic environment, blocking Cu2+ from binding to GHK. So mix GHK-Cu with sterile water instead (0.9% NaCl instead of 0.9% benzyl alcohol).

Yeah you can immediately tell whether it's NaCl by tasting it, and you can notice whether it's bac when you use it for a nose spray for example, because it will leave a slight burn in your nose (because of the alcohol)
