Im a literal coach and bodybuilder. You can not gain in a deficit. Even with gear, it is extremely hard to do. Maybe if you are running tren at high doses, sure because of partitioning effect
Yes and no. Progressing in lifts definitely contributes to growth. Mechanical tension is a real thing. Whether it’s more reps, more weight, better quality reps, etc. needs to be executed properly regardless of load, and progression needs to happen
No. I see where you are coming from, but this isnt correct. Lift progression does not equate nearly to half the equation of muscle gain. Strength does not = size
Again, if you take that logic then someone who goes from benching 225 to 405 in the span of two years should theoretically be huge. But thats not the case. Thats why there are guys who are 170lb benching 365+ that look tiny.
Also realize this, with general weight gain, and no training, a guy who is 225lb can lift
More than an untrained guy who is 165, because weight moves weight
People CAN grow into a show, maybe a .1% amount of people. And on top of that are throwing high total androgen load on top. That does not equate to the general population. You can’t take a one off and use it as your sample.
Im not at all. You cant use a .1% as a whole to your argument is what im saying. Those guys that are growing into their shows, arent these guys we are talking about right here lmao
