He sent me an email address to make an order and the email address sent me a new phone number. Found it strange but the btc address was the same to how ive paid him in the past

Nah I had his WhatsApp number. Confirmed order with that number. He sent me an email address. Made the order through the email and the btc address the email sent matched with previous orders id made on WhatsApp. Would not have went through with the order if it was a new btc address.

Always the risk of them going rouge but that's the chance you take. Won't be making big orders to new btc addresses anymore
