Men tend to tolerate 2mg starting really well. For some reason women seem to have more severe side effects at 2mg. I started at 2 and then went up in 2 mg intervals per the current clinical studies. It's worked really well.

I think people try to over complicate it or absorbed everything on tiktok. There is always some broscience that has some truth to it. For example. My wife gets less sides if she injects in her arm vs her stomach. It could be because it's not absorbed into the stomach as fast maybe?. However that's worked for her. As far as micro dosing, going up once a week etc. The half life is 6 days. It doesn't matter when it's injected that's how it metabolizes in the body. Some people feel the suppression weans around day 4-5. So I understand wanting to add more suppression. However ultimately you still have it active in the system. Wait till your day 6/7 do your shot one day of eating a little more won't kill you or stall weight loss. I typically stay in a 1000-1200 deficit. My last day I often will only be in a 400-500 calorie deficit. As a mini refead and it's been great.

Appreciate the sharing. Today is my 6th day and I can definitely feel the hunger from the moment i woke up (last meal was 8pm last night). I'll be sticking to one injection every 6th day but gonna give the 2mg a try today to see how I'll feel. I've dropped some water weight and I stick to around 1600-1800 calories since I started

I've run multiple in silico simulations based on my own parameters/stats and the best result is 0.5mg increase every 4th week while keeping the risk to minimal

Been on reta since September, biweekly shots. September and October was great. Had to pump up the dose up 0.5 per week in average. I was at 5mg no problem. But now since november i cant really find a dose to kill food noise and stop hunger. Even tried 12mg per week and it’s just slightly better, but not to the same extent as before. Any experience out there ? Time to switch to tirz? I am ~10% bodyfat and want to go to 8%.

So from my understanding. If you like reta and don't want to switch if you take like 200mcg of semaglutide it will replace the appetite suppression portion of the retatrutide because it is stronger. But will leave the rest intact and function as it should if you didn't want to switch.
