What are you talking about man? There is no protocol for needle reuse because any professional would lose their license if they would even suggest that. If you reuse a needle it's just smarter to take precaution. Very simple.

For single insuline needle use yes, there's barely any associated risk. But as I said, there is no protocol, nor has there ever been, for needle reuse. The body and skin are both not sterile, reusing a needle increases risk. Everybody needs to decide on the own what their risk tolerance is and how to reuse needles.
