Retatrutide doesn’t drop blood sugar the same way tirzepatide does because it isn’t designed primarily as a diabetes drug. It activates GLP-1 and GIP like tirzepatide, but it also activates the glucagon receptor, and glucagon naturally raises blood glucose by increasing liver glucose output. That means the glucose-lowering effects are partially cancelled out, so even on high doses like 16 mg you won’t see the same strong reductions you would get from tirzepatide. Retatrutide is mainly a weight-loss drug with only moderate glucose control, so having fasting numbers around 140–160 mg/dL doesn’t mean the product is fake it’s just how the drug works.

Can't make it any better than that. A lot of people move away from reta back to tirz or sema or add cagrilintide to help with food noise and suppress appetite.
