And GH is relatively safe. Sure if you are doing 10ius year round for multiple years maybe it wont be. The poison is always in the dose like anything. To much of a good thing can be bad. However there is plenty of people who have run elevated igf1 numbers for YEARS without any issues

I’m talking about amateur bodybuilders primarily, though at least pros tend to monitor bloodwork now. The 99% of steroid users who don’t compete rarely check IGF-1 or even understand its significance. Maybe a quarter of them check, and that’s optimistic. When they discuss dose in “IU” without any mention of IGF-1 you know they’re not monitoring. Shit, half of those guys don’t monitor basics like lipids or blood pressure while running gear. It’s even worse in the non-bodybuilding / steroid community, the general peptide users, who’ve never run bloodwork for anything even once.

Glucose / A1C is another must watch marker for rHGH use you almost never see mentioned.

Lol, im an amateur bodybuilder. Considering the top 1% of the world only turn pro, you are speaking for the majority of competitors/people using peds.

Also realize, with PEDS you always assume risk. There is no “why did this happen to me”. We know the possible outcomes and still do what we do. I take bloodwork pre , during and post cycle. Never IGF because I know its elevated consistently on cycle because I use 6-8IU. Off cycle 3-4.

But hba1c, glucose etc, is always included. As do most “good” bodybuilders.

This is my first post here so please don't roast me....lol. I'm 49. I had 2 major surgeries 9 months apart taking all my female parts because I unfortunately had 2 large size masses growing. Ive always been pretty avg on weight about 140. Well, after my issues I started to gain as my hormones were way off. I got to 168. After both surgeries I went on GLP and now my weight is 118-122. My issue is the extra skin because I couldn't lift more than 20 lbs for the last 2 years. I'm able to lift up to 35lbs now ( yes nothing to most people) but I need to build muscles. Please help. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I mean “amateur bodybuilder” is the self given title that includes anyone trying to build lean mass and on gear. “Competitive” bodybuilders, even non-pros are pretty much all serious enough to run bloodwork on a regular basis. Even if they don’t give a crap about health you’ve got to dial your protocol in to get good results.

I do compete, so there is that. But i wouldnt consider anyone who doesnt compete even as a bodybuilder. Just someone who likes to use PEDS

I guess my point is, you arent wrong. There are idiots who have no clue what they are doing. However there is some like myself who know they are pushing boundaries and ACCEPT all risk included.

If you dont understand and accept risk, you shouldnt be doing what we do in general

Got the protein part just gotta build up on lifting but as of now Dr still wants me to stay under 35 lbs. It hasn't even been a year since last surgery. It's been 6 months.

Sorry to hear that but I’d recommend, as others have, simply just sticking to the basics of eating well, getting good sleep and attempting to get good gym sessions in if possible

If there was an issue with insulin fasting BG would be up + a1c.
