2ml Every 0.1ml is 2mg

But the vials typically hold 3ml not 4ml.

Filter into a 10ml vial

You could go to the extra expense of buying filters and 10ml vials but I'd rather just add 2ml to a 40mg vial.

Makes sense if you use it quickly. I have RT50 and I load them into 2 pep pen cartridges of 2.5ml each since it will last me 2 months. The good thing about splitting on larger doses is that you can keep 1 vial/cartridge untouched. No temperature variation and no shaking on that one means more potency maintained for the second month when I use it. Also if you accidently leave one of them outside overnight after an injection, you can rest assured whatever potency degradation happens on that one, does not affect the other. Cartridges are cheap - a dollar each, peace of mind.

If you’re filtering into pen cartridges, just fill up 2 instead of 1
