Does ups not work between the 24th-1st because my package is in my city

Does ups not work between the 24th-1st because my package is in my city but has been stuck on The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible. A late UPS trailer arrival has delayed delivery by one business day. its been 5 days since the one business day alert

On the 22nd the site said to expect the package to arrive between 11:30 and 15:30 but it didn't come so I checked the website and it said "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.A late UPS trailer arrival has delayed delivery by one business day." its the 27th now and it still says the same thing

What does their website say? My package has been stuck at "picked up by Canada post" for a week now 😭
