Mainly training, diet, performance, rehab, sports biomechanics etc, I don’t advise people on hormones because I’m not a endocrinologist and it’s not my expertise and still learning as we wouldn’t be having this conversation otherwise

No. The pump you’re talking about happens intracellularly. Dietary intake is systemic. The body regulates sodium and potassium intake/output using kidneys, sweat and hormones, not by simply matching the pump ratio. Using the pump ratio as a guide for daily intake doesn’t capture the whole picture.

Seems to be the case, performed to a decent level myself, and so do my clients thankfully. Still learning tho, only been a coach a short amount of time so I don’t claim to be the best but I sure hope to get there!
