No. The pump you’re talking about happens intracellularly. Dietary intake is systemic.
The body regulates sodium and potassium intake/output using kidneys, sweat and hormones, not by simply matching the pump ratio. Using the pump ratio as a guide for daily intake doesn’t capture the whole picture.
Seems to be the case, performed to a decent level myself, and so do my clients thankfully. Still learning tho, only been a coach a short amount of time so I don’t claim to be the best but I sure hope to get there!
